Are you excited about all the ideas you have buzzing around in your head, but struggling to string them together in a way that makes sense?

Do you need help to pin down your core message and communicate it in a way that your target clients will love?

Hi, I’m Sophie Livingston.

I’m a website copywriter and content writer working with soulful, solo-run businesses.

I help freelancers create impactful websites and intentional content that’s fully aligned with their business goals.

It’s so good to meet you.

I live in Hull, East Yorkshire, with my boyfriend Ryan and our dog, Lincoln. I like to do things slowly and simply, and you’ll find me at home about 95% of the time. It’s where I work, and I’m lucky enough to have a bright, spacious, and comfortable home office to call my own.

My story

I began my freelance journey back in June 2016. I had no agency experience, no industry contacts, and no cash to help kick things off.

What I did have was a (somewhat unpracticed) talent for stringing words together and an aching desire to live life on my own terms.

It’s been a long, hard road, but things are finally coming together.

These are the most important lessons I’ve learned:

< 1 >

Everything is better when it’s done with intention.

When you know what your destination looks like, you can work backwards to get there.

Whether we’re talking life or business, you need to know why you’re doing what you’re doing, and who it’s for.

How else are you gonna build a life you love?

< 2 >

You are enough.

I’m on a mission to stop living my life through the lens of “not enough”.

Not good enough. Not smart enough. Not interesting enough.

I want you to do the same.

Because we are enough. And we deserve to live the lives we dream of.

< 3 >

It’s okay to grow slow.

I’m not in this to make a million.

I’m not a hustler and I’m not interested in the race to the top.

It’s okay to be intentionally small.

When you find yourself making comparisons, remember this: “We’re on different paths, we set off at different times.”

< 4 >

Doing less can lead to more.

More space for reflection, ideas, and creativity.

We often get caught up in doing what we think we should, just for the sake of doing something.

I challenge you to stop. Make space for growth.

< 5 >

Marketing is a conversation, that’s all.

Keep it simple. Be human. Talk to one person.

Trust yourself and have faith in your own ideas.

You are the heart of your business, and your strategy should be centred on that.

ARE YOU READY TO START BUILDING THE BUSINESS THAT’S BEEN BLOSSOMING INSIDE YOUR HEAD?
